Treadwell Ford was located at 901 South Beltline Highway in Mobile, Alabama. It was owned by Joe Treadwell. He started the dealership in 1955.

The dealership famously sponsored a 1965 R-model Shelby 5R538 and a Ford GT 40 # P1016. Here they are Daytona in 1966. The GT40 was driven by some guy named Ken Miles.

This is the Roger West car. As shown in the Huntsville Times newspaper, 1967.

Shortly after the dealership moved to the beltline Highway in 1967, this ad appeared looking for over 30 new employees!

Of course, they brought the salesman of the year, SE Gibson along to the new location.

Treadwell only sold two new 1968 Shelbys. Here is one - it's number 3084. The black rocker stripes were added later.

I haven't been able to stump Vinny Liska yet. He provided this Treadwell invoice from his collection.

Treadwell sold nine cars during the 1969-70 model year. Car 183 was one of them.

This beautiful 1970 was also sold by the dealership. It is car 2749.

This Treadwell Ford script looks to be about the right vintage.

Here's a Treadwell Ford advertisement from 1970. Treadwell remained in business well into the 2000s. It was sold to AutoNation.
