Here is some help identifying original 1969 Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic parts.

The backside of original 1969 FRP is smooth, just like the outside. It maybe white, gray, pink or even green.

Fastback and convertible quarter panel end caps are different. Because the fastback has a quarter panel that is wider, the end cap is
also wider. The fastback end cap is shown above. It is a one piece design.

The original convertible end cap is actually two pieces bonded together. It is much more narrow that the fastback part.

The difference in the width of the end caps means these rear molding panels are different lengths.

The 1969 tail light panels actually have the bulb receptacles molded into the panel. In 1968, the receptacle is removable.

The front side shows a grain like appearance on the tail light panels.

These are convertible rear quarter panel scoops. They use a small screen across the front opening. These scoops are functional.

Its not uncommon for new old stock fiberglass to not have the threaded mounting rods installed.

Scoops for fastbacks are functional. They also use a small screen mounted behind the scoop opening. A small drain is located at the bottom
of the scoop.

The lower valence is a hard part to find. Like many of the fiberglass parts it carries a part number.

The backside of the headlight bucket shows smooth surfaces and two metal inserts for the headlight adjusters.
